Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University Law School in 2010 with a Certificate in Business and Transactional Law with Distinction.
In law school, Michael frequented the Dean’s List and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was a legal intern with Washburn’s Law Clinic in both Civil Litigation and Small Business and Transactional Law.
Michael received his Master of Laws at the University of Georgia School of Law.
Michael obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. While attending school, he interned with SUU’s Public Safety Office. He earned his Master’s of Science in Security Management while working full-time as the Head of Security at a Target store.
In addition to practicing law, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys teaching. Michael previously taught immigration law and other courses as an adjunct faculty instructor at Concordia University School of Law.
