Patrick Reed brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to clients navigating complex domestic and international intellectual property matters. With a deep understanding of patent procurement, IP portfolio development, landscape analysis, and litigation support, Patrick has been instrumental in helping both emerging businesses and established corporations advance and protect their IP assets.
 
Patrick’s experience spans a broad range of technologies, including electrical, mechanical, industrial, and medical fields. He has authored hundreds of patents in cutting-edge areas such as semiconductors, computer software and hardware, electronic circuits, mobile telecommunications, alternative energy, and medical devices, among others.
A graduate of Gonzaga University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a minor in physics, Patrick started his career as an engineer before earning his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law, where he received the CALI Award in Patent Preparation and Prosecution. He is admitted to practice law in Washington and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
 
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and indulging his passion for classic cars. He is also actively involved in his community and church.
